Jonny Dexter - London Saxophone

Background/ Training

I took up the saxophone thanks to my father, a keen amateur player, and quickly found myself playing in local pubs and jam sessions.

I went on to train at the prestigious London conservatoire Trinity College Of Music where I studied for four years with Simon Purcell, Martin Speake and Julian Seigel. After graduating I accepted a number of teaching posts and now make a living as a teacher and player of the saxophone.

In my ten years working as a teacher I have amassed a vast amount of experience. I have taught on a one to one basis to adults and children of all abilities as well as part of established organisations including a number of schools, Greenwich Music Service, Blackheath Halls and the Original Jazz Summer School.
